Who Are We?

We’re not politicians. We’re not paid organizers.
We’re your neighbors.

(We really aren’t being paid by George Soros, we promise)

Fremont County Indivisible is a grassroots group built by regular people. Young adults, retirees, veterans, parents, workers, disabled folks, queer individuals, people living with mental health conditions, and more. All united by a shared belief that our democracy is worth fighting for.

We come from all walks of life.

Some of us are lifelong activists. Others had never been to a protest until this year.

We are Democrats, Independents, former Republicans, and we all believe that Donald Trump and his enablers are a danger to our democracy, our rights, and our communities.

Our group first came together in 2016, sparked by a national movement to resist authoritarianism. Over the years, we’ve grown and evolved, but something shifted in February 2025, when hundreds of local citizens in Fremont County came together through Facebook, desperate to do something about this administration.

We turned that energy into action.

Now, we show up. To protest, to write letters, to call our representatives, to educate each other, and to care for one another. We believe in community-based resistance. We believe that hope is a form of defiance. And we believe that ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they organize.

This is a home for people who refuse to give up.

If you’re angry, scared, heartbroken, or fired up, you belong here.
