Fremont County Indivisible operates using a hub-and-spoke model—a structure that allows for both collaboration and autonomy.

  • The hub serves as the central coordinating team. It helps spokes stay connected to one another, shares resources, and ensures that our group remains focused, inclusive, and strategic.
  • Each spoke is a working group with a specific focus and its own objectives, driven by the passions and commitments of our members. Spokes operate semi-independently and meet regularly to plan and take action.

Below are our current spokes and their missions:

Media Spoke

Objective:
Use social and print media to engage, mobilize, and support those who value a true American democracy… of, by, and for the people.

This group manages social media, writes newsletters, drafts press releases, and shares important calls to action with the community. Whether you love writing, designing, or just spreading the word, this is a place to plug in.

Sign Makers Spoke

Objective:
We are not just sign makers. We develop ways to bring our messages to the general public—flyers, cards, and more. We collect and develop ideas and themes for signs and disseminate them widely. We seek the best ways to purchase sign-making materials and share them with others. We also bring extra signs to demonstrations so nearly everyone can participate visibly.

This group is a blend of creativity, logistics, and community care.

Demonstrations & Actions Spoke

Objective:
The protest/action spoke coordinates visible, peaceful, nonviolent community demonstrations and other actions to support the goals of Fremont County Indivisible. We work to bring attention to the fight to protect our freedoms, support marginalized communities, defend our social safety nets, and preserve American democracy.

If you want to hit the streets, plan logistics, or ensure our protests are impactful and safe, this is your home.

Community Volunteering & Mutual Aid Spoke

Objective:
The purpose of this spoke is to foster connection and share resources to build bridges in our community.

Whether it’s collecting supplies, supporting neighbors, or organizing care networks, this group focuses on solidarity and service.

Fundraising & Finances Spoke

Objective:
To raise money to further the efforts of our Fremont Indivisible group.
This team ensures we have the financial means to keep our work going—funding signs, supplies, event rentals, mutual aid, and more. If you’re passionate about sustainability, budgeting, or fundraising ideas, this spoke needs you.

LGBTQ+ Outreach Spoke

Objective:
This group’s goal is to protect and uplift LGBTQ+ individuals by tracking anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, organizing inclusive outreach, and connecting our rural community to affirming resources, mutual aid, and opportunities for collective action.

This spoke is vital in making sure Fremont County Indivisible is a truly inclusive, affirming space—and that our queer community is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Healthcare for All Spoke

Objective:
Since all humans get sick and injured, health care is a necessity, not a privilege. The purpose of the current health care system in the U.S. is to maximize profit by collecting premiums and denying care.

We are working for a health care system whose purpose is maximizing the health of the community. It can be done. It has been done worldwide. We can do it here.

This group focuses on advocacy, education, and action toward truly universal healthcare.

Elections Spoke

Objective:
To research, track, and amplify key election activity at the city, county, state, and national level.

From voter registration to candidate research, this team ensures our community is informed, engaged, and ready to vote like our lives depend on it—because they do.

Want to Start a New Spoke?

Together, we’re building a structure that grows with us, holds us accountable to our values, and gets real work done in Fremont County.
